Goat Range Provincial Park + My Favorites
Goat Range Provincial Park is one of British Columbia's more important parks, as it helps protect the only natural spawning site of the unique "Gerrard" rainbow trout. It also protects grizzly, mountain goat and woodland caribou habitat. The park offers opportunity for wilderness camping, hiking and fishing. Due to the ecological significance of the park, visitors are encouraged to use low-impact techniques while visiting Goat Range. Address: 30 km east of | Nakusp, BC
Burton Historical Park + My Favorites
Burton Historical Park is located just south of Nakusp, and overlooks scenic Arrow Lakes. Campsites are available here, and there are fire pits with firewood provided for free.
